Tebbits Butchery and Farm Shop endeavours to provide a superb selection of the finest local produce and cater for every size of family. Whether you require half a pound of sausages, or meat for a month, you are assured of the same friendly personal service.  All the top quality meats are reared under farm assurance schemes, to the highest animal welfare standards. The product range includes:

Home Reared Beef
Howsons Lodge cattle are carefully farmed by the Tebbit family, to provide beef that is full of flavour, with total traceability. Carcases are hung on the premises, for three weeks, before being butchered on site by John and Neil, two master butchers with years of experience in the trade. This means customers are offered a huge range of cuts, including gourmet beef burgers.

Lamb From Two Local Farms
The hand selected lamb comes from two local farms and each carcase is fully traceable. The flavour and texture of the meat has to be experienced to be appreciated. A huge range of individual cuts are always available as well as gourmet lamb burgers.

Pork From Three Local Pig Farmers
Rare breed, outdoor reared pork is often available and this is supplemented by meat from two other local producers. Thus, flavoursome succulent cuts are guaranteed throughout the year complimented by an ever growing range of home produced sausages. Also stocked are delicious dry cured bacon, gammon and pork pies.

Poultry - Chicken and Duck
The chicken sold at Tebbits comes from the neighbouring county of Suffolk because to achieve the quality and flavour that the Tebbit family demands Ellie had to shop further afield. As such, the chickens are reared to exceptionally high standards and the texture and flavour are superb. Whole birds, breast fillets, drumsticks and thighs are to be found in the chiller and freezer cabinets. Telmara Farm Ducks also come from Suffolk, whole ducks and breast fillets are available and local free range chickens add to the selection.

Wild Game and Venison
When in season Venison from wild deer is regularly available, as is pheasant, partridge and other gamebirds.  Rabbit and pigeon are available all year round.

Sausages - Sam's Sizzlers (named after Ellie's son Sam)
Tebbits sausages have an excellent reputation. A high meat content and premium quality ingredients make them a connoisseurs favourite. Gluten Free varieties are included in the range. Tebbits own brand “Sam’s Sizzlers” pork, beef & venison sausages are home produced on the premises.

Tebbits cater for every size of family and John butchers and packs to individual requirements. (Phone for details).

Butchers Choice Box
For those who have little time to shop Tebbits provide the “Butchers Choice Box” which changes every week. It contains sufficient meat for a week and includes a Sunday Joint, sausages, bacon and eggs plus five other meat items and caters for various size families.  (Please phone for details).

Beef Boxes  - Small, Medium and Large
These contain a selection of the following: fillet steak, sirloin steak, rump steak, rib, topside, silverside & brisket joints, plus, mince, stewing & braising steak.

Lamb Boxes - Half and Whole Lambs
These contain a selection of the following: leg & shoulder joints, rolled breast, mince, steaks, chops & racks.

Pork Boxes - Half and Whole pigs
These contain a selection of the following: leg & shoulder joints, belly, chops, steaks, loin and sausages.

Ready Meals - Lily's Luxuries (named after Ellie's daughter Lily)
If you wish to impress your guests without making too much effort, or if you simply don’t have the time to cook, Tebbits selection of ready meals are the obvious solution. From individual pies to family sized lasagnes, “Lily’s Luxuries” are hand made locally, using Tebbits meats and other premium quality ingredients. They are the answer to every aspiring “Domestic God or Goddess’” prayer – and children love them too!

The shop features an extensive range of locally sourced eggs, preserves, chutneys, rapeseed oil, Ruth’s homemade cakes, and fruit pies - all tasted (and recommended) by the Tebbit family. Locally grown potatoes are also available, plus local seasonal fruit and vegetables. Not forgetting a wide range of Christmas produce including turkeys, geese, cockerels and hams.

Gluten Free Products
Tebbits are specialists in this field. All their beef, pork, lamb and venison burgers are gluten free, as are all their homemade sausages, which come in a wide variety of flavours. Also in stock are homemade meatballs and meatloaf, again gluten free. The Hot & Spicy gluten free glaze can be found on various meats from beef stirfry to spare ribs and chicken, whilst gluten free meat seasonings, including Thai and curry flavours, are also available. Local award winning bread and cake mixes are stocked, together with biscuits and much more. Deli Department
The Deli offers a choice of over thirty British and Continental cheeses and, if required, Tebbits can create a cheese board and accompaniments for you, served on a platter. A fantastic range of mouth watering charcuterie products is also available. These include chorizos, salamis, Parma ham and English honey roast ham, with the range constantly expanding.
